Lunar Gallery

I  shoot the moon not so often. It is not because I don't like shooting the moon, but the bad seeing conditions.

It was found that, at my observation site, the seeing condition would deteriorate most of the time when the moon rose up. Thus, I couldn't do my planetary imaging well when the moon was high up in the sky.

Do you also have same experience?

Therefore, up to now, I can only have captured very small no. of lunar images, and their quality are just acceptable.

Some of the images posted in this Gallery were taken with a Nikon CoolPix 990 digital still camera which I think some of you might not know.

Personally, I like the images captured with the CP more than those by a ToUcam because of better dynamic range shown in the images.

Unless specified, the final images were processed on just ONE frame of data with very simple skills such as Level and Curve stretching, unsharp masking, ...,etc. So, they look quite noisy.

Therefore, I am most appreciated if you could give me some feedback.

Lastly, please don't mind so less photographic data provided as I didn't keep the data well.

Enjoy Please.
